The MatX technique in AMBX PLA filament ensures a >99.99% effectiveness against bacteria, and that with a natural ingredient. Bacteria that encounter the biocide free material will have hardly any chance of survival and the material will continuously inhibit the growth of microbes. Objects that are 3D printed with AMBX PLA are resistant to bacteria, viruses (incl. SARS-CoV-2, Corona virus), molds and biofilm. This technique does not fade or leach out (migrate) over time and has been extensively measured and tested according to ISO 22196 and JIS Z2810 (*1). The material is available in diameters 1.75 and 2.85, available in white at this stage.

AMBX PLA does not contain harmful or toxic substances, silver, copper, nanomaterials and is biocide free. All these properties of the AMBX PLA ensure that the material is completely safe to use for humans, animals and the environment, including for medical purposes.
